DESCRIPTION:The annual Corn Palace Festival is almost here\, which only means one of Mitchell's longest-standing traditions is sweetly approaching Woolworth's Caramel Apples.\n\n          Yes\, those wonderful snacks made with a secret recipe and fresh apples sold to benefit both Mitchell Main Street & Beyond and the Carnegie Resource Center.\n\nWe're preparing orders for the busy week\, and we're hoping you'll enjoy an apple or two (or more) as this year's festival runs August 24   28\, 2022.\n\n          Here's the scoop with some caramel:  Apples are $5.50 each and we'll deliver them to you and your staff for any order of five or more.  We're also giving the option of purchasing a case of 80 apples (with caramel\, of course) for $350.\n\n         This is an awesome tradition\, held since 1959\, that has huge benefits for our community.  If you remember\, this group donated $1\,000 to the Mitchell School District and gave away 1028 apples to Mitchell's essential workers during the pandemic.  A tasty treat and community service?  How cool is that?\n\n          Finally\, we'll be selling apples (either on a stick or sliced in a bowl) at our new location in the Corn Palace Courtyard\, across from the Corn Palace during festival week.  We'll be open from noon until 9:00 pm each day except on Sunday.  Sunday hours are noon until 4:00 pm.\n\n         If you're interested in ordering for your business and/or making a very appreciated donation\, contact us 605-202-5658.
