Starting Wage: $17/hour or DOE
Schedule: Full-Time | Varied Shifts (6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. and/or 11:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.) | Includes some holidays and weekends
Job Summary
Countryside Senior Living is seeking a dependable, self-motivated Full-Time Cook to prepare nutritious, delicious meals for our residents. This position is responsible for meal preparation, food presentation, kitchen sanitation, and ensuring every resident enjoys a quality dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve appetizing, nutritious meals for more than 80 residents under the direction of the Kitchen Manager
• Follow menus, recipes, portion sizes, and dietary requirements
• Ensure food is prepared and served safely, efficiently, and on schedule
• Set up dining areas and assist with meal service as needed
• Deliver trays and meals to residents when required
• Wash dishes, cookware, utensils, and maintain clean food preparation areas
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, workstations, and dining areas
• Dispose of trash and food waste according to facility procedures
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards
• Assist with inventory, food storage, and other kitchen duties as assigned

• Previous experience preparing meals for large groups is required
• ServSafe Certification preferred
• Friendly, dependable, and team-oriented
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a positive team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexible availability, including some weekends and holidays

• Starting wage of $17/hour or higher depending on experience
