Automotive Instructor

MHS/MCTEA is seeking a full-time instructor to teach Automotive (high school level).  Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years' work experience in the automotive field.  Required to hold ASE certifications in G1, A4, A5 and A6.  Applicant must have experience with a variety of automotive repairs and service.

Instructors are responsible for developing lesson plans and teaching all courses as assigned; assessing student progress in classroom and laboratory; developing and updating curriculum; and using computers/software.  Applicants should possess strong writing and technical skills; the ability to communicate effectively; master change; work in groups; and have a strong customer orientation.

Must be eligible to meet State of South Dakota post-secondary instructor certification requirements.  Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred. K-12 instructional experience preferred but not required.
